Valhalla, the 1893 waterfront landmark at 201 Bridgeway, began as the Walhalla beer garden, appeared in Orson Welles’ The Lady from Shanghai and later became Sally Stanford’s celebrated Valhalla restaurant. Reimagined as a private estate and completed in 2022, it pairs the historic building with a new addition and guest house on the Sausalito shoreline. Photographed from dusk aerials to light-filled interiors, following the coastal architecture through its living spaces and terraces to the water and views across the Bay.
