A lakefront compound set into the granite and pines above Lake Tahoe: a glass-walled main house, a garage house and a timber lakeside cabin reached by funicular. Designed by Rehkamp Larson Architects, with interiors by Brooke Voss Design and construction by Schommer & Sons. Photographed for all three firms over two days on site, from sunrise drone exteriors to twilight, following the light across the lake and through the trees.
